Perpetual Plastics is an EPIC Sint Maarten initiative creating a community-based, on-island plastic recycling solution, right here in Cole Bay. Their workspace collects, sorts, shreds, and transforms plastic waste (types 2 & 5) into new, useful, and beautiful products. What makes it extra special is that the workspace is also an inclusive environment for community members with a distance to the standard labour market, giving people a safe space to learn skills, develop confidence, and contribute meaningfully to a more sustainable Sint Maarten.
And now they need YOUR help to make the workspace even better!
We'll be rolling up our sleeves to upgrade the Perpetual Plastics recycling workspace with some hands-on building and woodwork. Here's what's on the agenda:

Building a dedicated cabinet for the plastic shredder
