The day's work covers four areas of the school grounds. The playground walls will be freshly painted, restoring the welcoming atmosphere students deserve to walk into every morning. The fencing around the flagpole will be replaced, giving the school's centrepiece the dignity it deserves. The picnic tables, where students eat, rest, and connect during their breaks, will get a colourful refresh. And new plants will be introduced at the school's entrance, adding a touch of natural beauty that makes arriving at school feel like something worth looking forward to.
None of it requires special skills. Just a willingness to show up, pick up a brush or a trowel, and put in a few hours of work that students will notice and appreciate every single day.
