Remember how much a great playground meant to you as a kid? The freedom of a good swing, the thrill of a game painted right there on the ground beneath your feet? This SXM Doet, we're bringing that feeling back to the students of Leonard Conner School — and we need your help to do it.
SBBSL is looking for volunteers to roll up their sleeves and give the school playground the refresh it deserves. The swings will be repaired and reinforced so they're safe and sturdy again. The educational floor games — think hopscotch and other colorful interactive designs that get kids moving, counting, and cooperating — will be cleaned, marked out, and repainted in bright, inviting colors. The wider playground area will get some general love and maintenance too, making the whole space feel cared for and alive again.
