From Surviving to Thriving 🌸

From Surviving to Thriving 🌸
Victim Support Services is a non-profit organization that stands beside individuals who have experienced trauma, abuse, or crime on Sint Maarten. Through free and confidential counseling, legal guidance, and recovery support, VSS helps people heal, rebuild, and move forward on their own terms.

Please note that the activity has now been changed to a special luncheon for clients of Victim Support Services, creating a safe, supportive, and empowering space where survivors can relax, connect, and reflect on their journeys.

Through shared conversations, laughter, storytelling, and encouragement, participants will be reminded of their strength, resilience, and identity beyond their experiences of pain.
Our Goal
To remind survivors that their past does not define their future — healing, growth, and empowerment are possible. This gathering is meant to foster emotional support, encouragement, and genuine connection among individuals who understand one another’s experiences.
Expected Impact
Participants will leave feeling emotionally supported, valued, and less alone in their experiences. The activity aims to encourage healing conversations, positive reflection, self-worth, confidence, and empowerment while strengthening peer support and community bonds.

Volunteer With Us
As a volunteer, you will help create and maintain a warm, welcoming, and safe environment by assisting with setup, supporting activities, and helping participants feel comfortable and cared for throughout the day.

Come help us turn a meal into a moment that matters.
