The Sister Basilia Center's Guided Living program, part of the White Yellow Cross Care Foundation, supports adults with intellectual disabilities in living semi-independently in their own community. Based in Guana Bay, the Guided Living clients go to work, manage their own homes, and navigate daily life, all while being supported by a dedicated team of mentors who help them thrive on their own terms. It is a place built on dignity, growth, and the belief that everyone deserves to live life to the fullest.
We will be painting a mural on the inner walls of the gazebo in our backyard to brighten and enhance the area that is used daily by our clients and staff.
The mural will be designed and led by muralist Ms. Nascha, who will create the outline and guide the overall painting process. Guided Living staff will assist volunteers throughout the activity to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience. Our team will also prepare and serve snacks and refreshments.
We look forward to creating a welcoming and uplifting space for everyone to enjoy.
