Fun Day at the Bird Farm 🕊️

The Home Away From Home Foundation (HAFH) has been dedicated since 2003 to supporting seniors in St. Maarten who may otherwise spend their days isolated at home. With a membership of over 100 seniors, HAFH organizes regular activities to keep members physically, socially, and mentally active, creating joy, connection, and a sense of community.

This SXM DOET project is a Fun Day at the Bird Farm, giving senior, especially new members who haven’t experienced it before, the chance to mingle with the birds, enjoy nature, and connect with one another. Volunteers will help make the day smooth, safe, and full of fun, ensuring everyone can enjoy the sights, sounds, and peaceful environment of the Bird Farm.
