The Fajara Day Treatment Center, also known as Faraja (Swahili for “comfort” and “consolation”), provides adults with guidance, support, and empowerment to regain confidence and skills for meaningful participation in society. Through therapy, life skills training, arts and crafts, and social activities, Faraja creates a nurturing environment where clients can grow, learn, and thrive.
This project is a bus tour and lunch adventure for Faraja clients, offering a chance to explore the heart of our community, celebrate local culture, and strengthen social connections. The outing reflects the 2026 theme, “Faraja: Coming Out Stronger”, emphasizing unity, resilience, and shared growth while promoting inclusion.
