Help keep our island clean! On DOET Saturday, we will be at Simpson Bay Lagoon clearing plastic trash. This will improve the overall health of the lagoon and assist with the growth of our baby mangroves in the area. Help us restore SBL to the beautiful natural resource it once was.
Simpson Bay Lagoon is one of Sint Maarten's most precious natural resources — a stunning, ecologically rich body of water that supports marine life, protects our coastline, and defines the beauty of our island. But plastic pollution is taking a serious toll, threatening the health of the lagoon and the tiny baby mangroves that are working hard to take root and grow along its shores.
EPIC Sint Maarten — an environmental conservation organisation with over 20 years of experience protecting and restoring Sint Maarten's natural environment — is heading to Simpson Bay Lagoon this SXM Doet Saturday to fight back. And they need YOU to join the crew!
