Last year, we took the first steps in creating a crochet coral reef together—bringing together creativity, community, and environmental awareness. Along the way, we learned that this project takes time, dedication, and experienced crocheters to bring it to life truly.
This year, we’re adapting and restarting with a focused approach, inviting skilled crocheters to help build on the foundation we started. Our goal is to create a full crochet coral reef for exhibition, showcasing not only the beauty of coral ecosystems but also the stories and connections woven into every stitch.
On this Friday we will sit with a small group to make a start with some of the models. The pattern will be prepared, we need experienced crochet hands to make them 'come alive' to use as examples for the Saturday.
