Ten clients from the Nursing Home will be taking part in our “Beach Front Lunch” event. During this event, the clients will be picked up at the White and Yellow Cross (WYCCF) Nursing Home and taken to the Gingerbread Café at Belair Hotel, where they will have a nice lunch. After lunch, all clients will be then taken back to the WYCCF.

In collaboration with SXM DOET, the WYCCF is organizing a lunch for its elderly clients. At this “Beach Front Lunch “our clients can enjoy a nice meal while taking in the beautiful ocean view.
This event is specifically planned for the senior citizens of the White and Yellow Cross Care Foundation. Our main focus/goal is to have a relaxing day with our clients outside of the nursing home. Many clients lose touch with the outside world after living inside a facility for a long period of time. Some long to see the ocean again, while others just want to go out and have a great time. I believe this type of outing gives the clients a chance to reconnect with the outside.
