Come and spend the morning outdoors at Little Bay Pond as we clean up around the pond and repaint the bird watching hut. Recently the condition of the hut has deteriorated; it needs repairs to make it safe and plenty of TLC! Little Bay Pond is an eight-hectare site fringed with mangroves and home to a variety of ducks and wading birds, including the Caribbean Coot, a species of concern.

Renovation will include the broken shutter, so we are looking for a carpenter's help. Then we will repaint the wooden hut structure as well as the metal railings to restore the hut to its original glory and make it safe for bird watchers. We will also do a clean up of the area around the pond, reaching into the mangroves with grabbers to retrieve litter.
