PART 2 Placing ASHCAN signs - Safe Our Beaches

Protect our beaches from cigarette buds by creating these ashcan station situated on the most popular beaches Great Bay, Simpson Bay and Mullet Bay . Each beach will have 4 stations with 6 cans. Visitors can crab a ashcan of bud can from the station and return it after their visit to keep the beach clean from cigarette buds. Cigarette buds are not often mentioned in environmental awareness campaigns were as plastic is a huge topic. We would like to enlight the problem of this by creating these stations and bring awareness around this pollution and dangerous hazard. The stations will be made strong to endure storms and will be emptied on a regular basis by committed volunteers.
