Once a year in the Summer Art Saves Lives Foundation (ASL) is housed at the National Institute of Arts where they conduct a week-long Summer Workshop for hundreds of students with a professional international staff. ASL wants to help with some of the "fine-tuning" of the Black Box Theatre/Studio by fixing the theatre curtains which are at the moment either pinned onto the rod or stapled onto the ceiling of the studio and provide some seating/benches for the students and audience in the hallway which at the moment has no seating available.

All curtains will need a fold sewn at the top through which they will hang from the pipe. There is approximately 70 feet of curtains to sew The curtain rods need to be bolted to the ceiling in order to hang the curtains, this will replace the stapling of the curtains We hope to construct at least 4 benches (picnic) which can be put in the lobby area of the building for student and audience seating.
